Since 1906 one or more Faurč Brothers' company has been providing quality distribution and warehouse management services customized to our client's requirements. Throughout our 96-year history we have expanded to accommodate our customers and meet business demands.

Today we have three specialized companies to serve our customers needs.

Great Lakes Warehouse specializes in commercial and retail food products, food ingredients, and general merchandise. We provide food grade warehousing with refrigerated, air conditioned and dry storage. AIB International certifies the buildings with a "SUPERIOR" rating. They have dry sprinkler systems; 24-hour security; inventory control with lot, batch, and mixed lot tracking; and employees are trained in GMP storage and sanitation control. Great Lakes originated in 1906 and today we operate facilities in Calumet City, IL and Hammond, IN. The Hammond site is on the Illinois / Indiana border and is the site of our original facility - a six-story building that is still in use today. Additional buildings and modifications have been added over the years with the latest being a 52,000 Square Foot. tilt-up concrete building finished in 2000.

Gateway Warehouse specializes in hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. We provide NFPA-30 Flammable storage (including refrigerated space); Hot-Room, Heated, Refrigerated and Ambient storage; High Hazard Sprinkler System; Explosion-proof Lighting; Eight-inch Dikes; Vapor Censors; Fused Link Fire Doors; Computerized SARA Title III Reporting; 100% HM-126F Certified Warehouse Employees; Certificate of Analysis Control, and inventory control with Lot, Batch, and Mixed Lot Tracking. Gateway originated in 1953 and today we operate a 200,000 Square Foot. facility in Calumet City, IL.

Illiana Transit Warehouse consists of three facilities at the Hammond, IN complex. One specializes in general merchandise and air-conditioned products, one in food ingredients, and one in chemicals with NFPA-30 rooms, refrigerated and dry space. There is a total of nearly 300,000 Square Feet with Ambient, Heated, Air-Conditioned and Refrigerated Space; 24-hour Security; 100% HM-126F Certified Warehouse Employees; Certificate of Analysis Control, and inventory control with Lot, Batch, and Mixed Lot Tracking.

Faure' Brothers' warehouses currently cover approximately 1,000,000 square feet of space. We also work with clients who want to develop build-to-suit facilities and customized operations. All warehouses are operated with GMP storage and sanitation control; have dry or wet sprinkler systems; 24-hour security; inventory control with lot, batch, and mixed lot tracking; and fully trained employees.

Our Warehouse Management System assures efficient document preparation, accurate product and inventory data, radio frequency communication when required, EDI services, a full complement of reporting capabilities, future systems flexibility, and customer access to their receiving, shipping, and inventory information through either a secure dial-up Guest Menu or via the Internet. This system is upgraded as necessary to meet customer and internal needs. Customer owned and connected computer terminals and printers are also installed and used when desired.
